So finally after 2 months I am back to my blog. I'll start with the addition of Georgia June Egge. She was born on May 11, 2009 at 5:29 pm. She weighed a healthy 8 lbs 5 oz and was 21 inches long. We are so happy to finally have her here. It has been a great first month. Georgia had a little trouble knowing day from night at first but we're getting that squared away too. She is growing like a weed already. People always say the time goes so fast, I just didn't realize it actually would.

Baby Showers

The time is getting closer for our baby to come with that comes baby showers. The last couple weeks have been filled with lots of friends and family. On March 29, 2009 Kelley and Lorinda Edwards hosted a fabulous shower for us at their home in Denton. Despite the snowy weather we had a great turn out and the community of Denton was so gracious.

The following week was spent with Andrew's family in Molt. Sarah, Peter and Addie arrived on Monday night while Katie, Emma and Alex surprised everyone on Tuesday. We had a great week of family dinners and playing with the kids. Andrew was excited to show the boys his old Legos and teach them a little bit about gun safety with their new Red Rider BB Gun. Everyone got to go to the water park and ride the water slides too.
On Saturday April 4, 2009 the Egge girls hosted a second baby shower. With quiche, fresh fruit and mimosas we celebrated! They had several fun games planned that included identifying all of our own baby pictures. It was a great day.
Today I am 36 weeks pregnant and anxiously awaiting "Bobcat's" arrival. One month and counting! I hope my next post will include some new baby photos.
